Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher

Jay Roberts has been seeking his whole life, but it took him a long time to find yoga. He spent many years expecting contentment with life to come from external sources. After realizing his suffering originated in this flawed view, he started looking for answers within and began a mindfulness meditation practice. Eventually he reasoned that a calm and healthy mind might be cultivated easier if it resided in a calm and healthy body. He was drawn to yoga and started attending classes regularly. He discovered the more he practiced the more content he became. In 2013 he discovered Jivamukti Yoga and started studying under the inspirational Andrea Boyd and Jeffrey Cohen. He completed his 300 hour Jivamukti Teacher Training in 2015 with gratitude for the illuminated teachings of Sharon Gannon, David Life, Yogeswari, Jeffrey Cohen, and Emma Henry, as well as the love and support of 50 other Holy Beings.
Jay aspires to compassionately share his experiences and practice with his students - reminding them that change is inevitable, and with a dedicated practice life can be navigated with serenity.
