The Yoga Classes

integrate creative and intelligent sequencing of yoga asanas (postures) with the yogic science of sound vibration (via breath, mantra, rhythm and music), classic dharma (teachings), and adept hands-on assists. Satsang is Sanskrit for Satya (Truth) & Sanga (community). The ancient practices emphasize good health, a clear mind and a kind heart, which come through stretching, releasing, strengthening, singing, laughing, connecting. It is a physical and psychological tuning. We come together and reflect to one another the possibility of our highest potential, empowering each others' desire to live in truth, authenticity and joy.

JIVAMUKTI YOGA METHOD is an integral part of our sadhana. It is our lineage. Our teachers Sharon Gannon and David Life, through the blessings of their teachers, co-founded the Jivamukti Yoga Method in 1984, which focuses on teaching and practicing yoga as a means to enlightenment through compassion for all beings. There are Jivamukti teachers and students all over the world, who keep the yoga scriptures alive, and who are working to protect animals and the environment.
