Satsang Yoga Charleston grew out of years of study within the Jivamukti Yoga tradition.
(SAHT-sahng) | Uncommon company in Truth
Our practice integrates creative and intelligent sequencing of asana with the yogic science of sound, vibration, breath, mantra, rhythm, and music alongside classic dharma and adept hands-on assists. Movement and sound are not separate disciplines here; they work together.
These ancient practices cultivate good health, a clear mind, and a kind heart. Through stretching, strengthening, sweating, singing, and connecting, the body and psyche are tuned.
We come together and reflect to one another the possibility of our highest potential, empowering each others' desire to live in truth, authenticity and joy.

PRACTICE.
From time to time we send notes from the shala — reflections from pushti, announcements of gatherings, teacher training updates, and moments from daily practice.
If you’d like to stay connected to the rhythm of the space, you’re welcome to receive them.
